Venlo

Venlo is a crossing point for both German and Dutch trains. There is much to see from Carco services to passenger trains of these countries. We can recomment walking a bit way from the station, as you can observe running trains from the pavement of Kaldenkerkenweg especially in the winter season when the fences securing the rail tracks are not grown over by plants. Another good viewing point is the Broekestraat Level Crossing where you can place yourself on many sides to see trains as best as you can and accodring to light conditions.
